Bio
Dr. Joanna Greer Koch is an Associate Teaching Professor in the College of Education at NC State University. Additionally, Dr. Koch serves as the Multilingual Education Program Coordinator for the Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program. Her scholarly interests include multicultural, multilingual, as well as comparative and international education. She teaches elementary education and teacher education courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. She also supervises MAT student teachers in K-12 NC public schools. Dr. Koch has coordinated multiple cultural immersion experiences to Mexico for NC State students, and served as a mentor to five Fulbright Junior Faculty from Lebanon. Prior to joining NC State University in 2012, she was an elementary public school teacher.
