Norman Anderson and J. Conrad Glass, Jr. Fellowship

Provides one scholarship to a Graduate student enrolled in Adult and Higher Education and one scholarship to a Graduate student enrolled in Mathematics, Science, and Technology Education.

Kimberly F. Crews Memorial Endowment

Provides one scholarship for a first year Graduate student and one scholarship for a second year Graduate student majoring in Counselor Education. This endowment is awarded based upon your financial need, academic excellence, leadership, and extracurricular achievements.

Peter H. Martorella Student Award

Provides a scholarship to one Graduate student majoring in social studies teacher education. This scholarship is awarded based upon your academic record, quality of your proposal, and your potential for success as a social studies educator. This award may be renewed for up to 1 year.

Sandi Mitchell Memorial Fund

Provides a scholarship to a Graduate student for up to $200 majoring in Counselor Education to support the student’s professional or personal development. This scholarship is awarded to a Graduate student who demonstrates a record of outstanding academic achievement and possess personal qualities of empathy and compassion in interpersonal relations.

Moshakos Family Graduate Fellowship

Provides $2,000 annually to Graduate students enrolled in or accepted to a Graduate Teacher Education curriculum in the College of Education.

John and Nell Penick Fellowship in Science Education

The John and Nell Penick Fellowship is intended to benefit graduate students in science education who have completed at least 20 semester hours of course work for a doctoral degree and have indicated intent to seek a post-secondary position as a science teacher-educator and researcher. Preference will be given to female candidates. Students may apply directly or may be recommended by a faculty member. Each candidate must submit a research proposal (suggest 1500 words or less) for consideration.

Agnes and Garfield Stiff Scholarship

Provides $500-$1,000 awards for Graduate students in the Department of Mathematics, Science and Technology Education, in the College of Education. Recipients must have presentations that have been accepted at a regularly scheduled conference, symposium or workshop sponsored by a national, regional or state professional organization, representing the disciplines in the Department.

Cassandra Lee Versteeg Memorial Scholarship

Provides scholarships to Graduate students in Counselor Education who seek to work with persons with disabilities. Recipients are selected on the basis of exceptional aptitude and ability to work with persons with any type of disability.

Epsilon Pi Tau Robert & Marilyn Wenig Scholarship

Provides scholarship to Epsilon Pi Tau graduate students in Mathematics, Science and Technology, who demonstrate a genuine passion for servant first leadership, shown through service to EPT, extracurricular and community activities and continued involvement in similar activities.

Wilcox-Hodnett Doctoral Fellowships for Public School Administrators in North Carolina

Provides scholarship support of up to $10,000 for full-time graduate study to practicing public school administrators in the state of North Carolina or policy students who are conducting research pertinent to educational leadership. Recipients must demonstrate the capacity for significant or creative leadership.
