Bio

Dr. Pooneh Lari is a faculty member in the Department of Educational Leadership, Policy, and Human Development and serves as the Program Coordinator for the Master’s in Training and Development. She has 16 years of experience in higher education as a faculty member, specializing in instructional design, workforce development, and adult learning.

Dr. Lari’s professional background includes roles as a program evaluator, instructional designer, and training and change management consultant. She has extensive experience designing and evaluating training programs across corporate, nonprofit, and academic settings. Her research interests focus on the scholarship of teaching and learning, workforce development, and the application of instructional design principles to enhance adult education and organizational training.

As an educator and program coordinator, Dr. Lari is dedicated to preparing professionals in the field of training and development, equipping them with the skills to design, implement, and assess effective learning experiences. She is also actively involved in mentoring students and fostering partnerships with organizations to provide real-world learning opportunities.
