Bio

Jeffrey Alex Edelstein (“Jae”) (He/They) serves as the Campus and Community Engagement Coordinator for Elevate, NC State’s Inclusive Postsecondary Education Program. In this role, Jae supports students in the Elevate program in finding extracurricular opportunities on campus through accessible event planning, peer support, and cross-campus collaborations. Jae will also be providing support for residential students in the Elevate program beginning in the Fall 2025 semester.

Jae is particularly passionate about disability community and has been involved in research and community building focused on college students with disabilities since 2014. Previously, Jae served as the Program Manager for the MIND Program at Berklee College of Music and Boston Conservatory. Prior to that, Jae obtained his Ed.S. in Higher Education from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, a Masters in Higher Education Administration from the University of Michigan, and a B.A. in Music and B.S. in Management Information Systems from Florida State University.
