Laura B. Fogle
Bio
Laura B. Fogle has 20+ years of experience with educational technology in K-12 and higher education. She has worked in a variety of capacities including designing online courses, LMS support, faculty professional development and user support. Fogle earned her bachelor’s degrees as a double major in electrical and biomedical engineering from Duke University. She went on to earn her master’s in instructional technology from the NC State College of Education in 2014. She joined the College of Education in 2017 as Assistant Director of METRC and was awarded the NC State University Award for Excellence in 2021. Fogle previously served as an educational technology specialist at the Duke University School of Nursing, an instructional designer for Pearson Education, and a technology facilitator for Durham Public Schools. She is also the founder of Digital Durham, a digital equity collaborative in Durham, NC. Her current interests include digital equity, makerspaces, and virtual reality.
