Bio
I practice counseling utilizing an eclectic approach. I begin with a client-centered base before pulling concepts from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), logotherapy, relational-cultural therapy, and family systems (Murray Bowen). However, I’m now learning more about the procedures and techniques associated with Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT). Before coming to NCSU, I practiced counseling at a community college, within a college of nursing, at an HBCU, and in an integrated primary health care setting.
