Dr. Micha Jeffries is a Teaching Assistant Professor in the College of Education. She also serves as the Director of the Master of Arts in Teaching program. She is a social studies educator who teaches courses in social studies methods and diversity education. Her research agenda focuses on examining the variables or factors characterizing teacher education programs that are effective in producing teachers prepared for culturally, ethnically, and linguistically diverse student populations.
