Meet Ashton Crump
I decided to spend my fall semester in Prague because I wanted to immerse myself in something new. Before coming to Prague, I had never been out of the US. I learned that you have to just go for it sometimes! Whether that be getting a last-minute plane ticket to a county you’ve never heard of, or trying to pronounce a Czech dish and embarrassing yourself, you just have to enjoy your time in the present!
Meet Lauren Fels
I learned more about who I am as an American. Being immersed in a completely new culture really made my own culture apparent because there were some obvious differences. The whole mindset in Italy is a lot more relaxed: dinner can go on for up to 3 hours, some places close for a couple of hours in the middle of the day and there is a real emphasis on community.
Meet Chantal Warfield
Don’t be afraid. Just do it. Take the leap and go. It is amazing to be able to be abroad. It can change your entire perspective on the world and yourself. It’s an experience that can literally change your life. What I loved about these courses were that we had to treat London like our classroom to understand the material.
