Keith Walkowiak

Bio

Keith Walkowiak is co-chair of the College of Education Staff Organization (CED SO) and the University-School Partnership Coordinator for the Teacher Education and Learning Sciences Department where he oversees the placement of students in local elementary and middle schools for the multiple levels of internships and student teaching. He works closely with NC State faculty, university supervisors, and the teachers and administrators in the partnership network to ensure that undergraduate and MAT education majors in the TELS Department are provided with quality hands-on field experiences that will prepare them to be successful as future classroom teachers.

Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Mr. Walkowiak was a former teacher and assistant principal in Louisa, Virginia before joining the staff in the College of Education.
