The program offers Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral Programs. The Ph.D. Program in Science Education is the only one offered in North Carolina. The science education faculty are actively involved in research at the state, national and international levels, and are committed to bringing state of the art teaching and research to future science educators. Our program supports both K-16 classroom teaching and informal science education in museums, zoos, and other settings. We provide degree programs and service to the state through special classes, seminars, workshops, consulting and participation on college and university committees.
