PD 746 – South Africa: Study abroad for student teachers

Are you interested in studying abroad as a student teacher? Join us for this session about the study abroad program (go.ncsu.edu/cedsouthafrica) for student teachers that takes place in Stellenbosch, South Africa for 3 weeks in April 2024. You complete your North Carolina student teaching a little early and travel to South Africa as a group with field placements in local schools learning about the local culture, history, and education.
Study Abroad Scholarship Applications (https://studyabroad.ncsu.edu/funding/nc-state-scholarships/) are open and due on Friday, September 15th. We highly recommend you complete this scholarship application (say yes to be considered for the Africana Studies scholarship) even if you are not sure about applying to the study abroad program yet. The program application is due Sunday, October 15.
Note: This PGU is geared towards seniors, but other students can attend!
