The Study Abroad Office, along with financial support from Colleges and Departments across campus, provide scholarships for any NC State student planning to study abroad. Review the scholarships section of the Study Abroad website to learn more about eligibility, selection criteria, dates and deadlines. Check out the Scholarship Directory for Individual Scholarships. External scholarships & resources should be considered along with personal fundraising.
Review low-cost programs to find programs that are similar to or slightly more or less than the cost of attendance at NC State.
All undergraduate CED students should review the Fund for Education Abroad Scholarship and the Gilman Scholarship to see if they are eligible. All students who represent a group that is traditionally underrepresented in education abroad are encouraged to apply. These groups include, but are not limited to: First-generation college students & Minority students.
