Email & Calendars
All NC State students, faculty and staff are provided a Gmail account for email and calendaring as part of the Google Apps @ NC State suite of communication and collaboration applications hosted by Google. NC State Gmail accounts have unlimited storage and can send attachments up to 25MB in size. To send larger files, we recommend using your NC State’s Google Drive which has unlimited storage space.
Please remember: You can address emails to a person’s alias address (firstname_lastname@ncsu.edu), but alias addresses cannot be used to create Google calendar entries, share Google calendars, or share Google Docs. You must use a person’s NC State Gmail ID (unityid@ncsu.edu) for those functions.
Web Access
The NC State Gmail login page is https://gmail.ncsu.edu. You must enter your username as unityid@ncsu.edu.
Mobile Access
Instructions are available for accessing your NC State Gmail through various mobile devices:
