Elizabeth Godwin ’79

Elizabeth Godwin has been a member of the College of Education Board since 2017. Previously, she was a member of the NC State Foundation Board for eight years and the liaison to the College of Education during that time. She graduated from UNC-Greensboro with a bachelor’s in math and earned her master’s in mathematics education from NC State’s College of Education in 1979. She retired as a math teacher from Ravenscroft School in Raleigh. In addition to volunteering on the College of Education Board, she volunteers with her church and the American Cancer Society. She and her husband, Jerry, live in Charlotte. She is a lifetime member of the NC State Alumni Association.
