American Education Week Events and Activities

It’s Also International Education Week!

This year, we celebrate both American Education Week and International Education Week, recognizing the profound impact that educators have on students around the world. During this special week, we honor the dedication of teachers, administrators, and support staff in the U.S. for their commitment to shaping the future of our communities. At the same time, we acknowledge the global network of educators who promote learning, cultural understanding, and the development of future leaders worldwide. Together, these observances highlight the critical role educators play in building a better, more connected world.

Calling ALL Study Abroad Alumni!

Share the moments that made your study abroad experience unforgettable! We’re excited to announce the Study Abroad Photo Contest, where students who have studied abroad can submit their best photos from their international journeys. Whether it’s a breathtaking landscape, a cultural tradition, or a candid moment of everyday life, we want to see the world through your lens.

Submit your photos for a chance to win exciting prizes and showcase the beauty, adventure, and personal growth that come with studying abroad. Email cedglobalprograms@ncsu.edu to submit your photos!

Support extraordinary educators throughout the year

Each year, donors make a difference for thousands of children and families both in North Carolina and across the country by supporting the College of Education Excellence Fund. Help us prepare extraordinary educators who will make a difference across our state and beyond.
