Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Education

The Department of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Education emphasizes exemplary teaching, scholarship and service in the context of a university education.

With a primary emphasis on improving schools and society, the Department prepares quality educators for middle, secondary and post-secondary school science, technology, engineering, mathematics, graphic communications and informal settings. In addition, the Department offers a Graphic Communication Concentration (non-teaching) and several minors, including Technology Education and Graphic Communications. STEM Education Research Symposium
