Morgan Ridgell (she/her/hers) is the Senior Advisor for the Student Success and Advising Center in the College of Education. Born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Morgan will always consider North Carolina to be home although she’s lived in four different states. Morgan has over 8 years of experience in Higher Education from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville where she served as an Advising Coordinator in the College of Arts & Sciences. She brings a myriad of experience and knowledge from a diverse range of student service areas including new student orientation, first-year experience, student organization advising, campus programming, and multicultural student life. Her professional interests include access and equity, student advocacy, anti-racist practices in higher education, and mental health challenges experienced by college students.
