Undergraduate Programs

NC State’s College of Education is unique in offering an undergraduate experience that stands out among its peer institutions. Our flexible options allow you to earn multiple licensures and/or bachelor degrees. All programs utilize 21st Century learning and teaching strategies.

Middle Grades English Language Arts & Social Studies Education (MSL)

This program prepares teachers to effectively educate young adolescent. Graduates earn licensure for teaching grades 6-9 in the language arts and social studies disciplines.

Elementary Education

Unique among undergraduate teacher education programs, this degree creates teacher-leaders who have deep content knowledge in all elementary disciplines with a special emphasis on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

Learning Design and Technology

Applied Education Studies: Learning Design and Technology

This program serves students who are interested in working in multiple sectors as instructional designers and developers rather than teachers.
