Stop by METRC to take a picture with their SOAR collaborative art project mural during American Education Week. METRC will post the feathers they collected highlighting goals for students, staff, and faculty.

Supporting Our Practicing Teachers in Partner Schools (12-1 p.m.)

This is a two-part service activity that will help teachers who are struggling. Part one is a planning meeting to discuss ways to support practicing teachers, particularly those at our partner schools. Part two will involve the group's appreciations being delivered. Join via Zoom.

Come write a thank you card to a professor, school teacher, colleague, or peer and win a prize! Students (and faculty/staff) can tag @NCStateCED on Twitter and Instagram and use the hashtag #ThankAnEducator to thank educators and tell about the impact educators have had on them.

Why I Chose Education Quilt Creation (1-3 p.m.)

Stop by ELMO’s table to design your piece of the quilt that will display why students chose careers in education. ELMO will collect each design to create a large quilt that will be displayed in the College of Education.  

College Advising Corps Educational Session (3-5 p.m.)

Come learn about how to join the College Advising Corps! The NC State College Advising Corps places recent college graduates as full-time college advisers in some of North Carolina’s rural, under-served high schools. Advisers provide the encouragement and advising needed to navigate the college admissions process. Join via Zoom.   

What is NCAE? (4:30-5:30 p.m.)
