The NC PreK-12 Literacy and Equity Summit will bring together cross-sector stakeholders to address the question: How do we leverage North Carolina’s investment in PreK-5 literacy to ensure that all students can read and write on grade level beyond grade 5? NC State’s Inaugural Equity Research Symposium

Partners from across NC State are coming together in 2022 to share and catalyze new cutting-edge, equity-focused and equity-relevant research. The university’s first Equity Research Symposium will contemplate the question: “what does equity mean to me?” throughout the day. The event will feature panel presentations, lightning-rod presentations, poster presentations and round table discussions.

Exploring Next-Generation Education Series: AI and the Future of Education

In this talk, as part of the Friday Institute for Educational Innovation's Exploring Next-Generation Education Series, the presenters will consider how (and at what rate) AI technologies for education will evolve, discuss emerging innovations in AI-augmented learning environments for formal and informal contexts, and explore what competencies will be elevated in an AI-pervasive workforce.
