Where: Poe 120
Description: Kate Curley (they/their) is a trailblazer and leading thinker on trans/non-binary ways of knowing and their religious, secular, and spiritual engagement in college. Drawing from IDEALS research (housed here at NC State), Kate became especially interested in how college students across different religious and nonreligious groups view trans/NB people, while uncovering the experiences trans/NB students have with religion on campuses across America. Bring questions and feeling and prepare to disrupt binary ways of knowing, believing, and gathering.
