Qualitative Data Analysis in the Cloud: An intro to Dedoose and Taguette

There are many qualitative data analysis programs out there; how do you know which is right for you? This workshop will provide an introduction to two cloud-based qualitative data analysis software programs, Dedoose and Taguette. This informational session will give an introduction to the vocabulary and interface for each tool, best practices for managing and exporting data, and how they compare with other tools such as NVivo and Atlas.ti. If you’re just getting started with qualitative research and are trying to choose a tool, or if you’ve been using one tool for your research but wondering if life is better in the cloud, then this workshop is for you.
