PD 672 – Meet My Future: Bridging the Opportunity Gap in Rural Areas

Rural areas are facing poverty, job and market loss, lower educational attainment, and population decrease. This affects schools, workforce development, and student futures. Many students are never exposed to diverse careers and may not have the opportunity to engage with many professionals. Ashley will discuss ways we can bridge the opportunity gap in rural areas through her program, Meet My Future (www.meetmyfuture.com).
