PD 6654 – Subitizing: Make a difference with students’ mathematical learning in 5 minutes a day.

February 18, 2021 | 5:30 pm - 6:45 pm

Bring your subitizing game up a level! This professional development is for all NC State ELM graduates, current students, and EEMS Twitter followers, and will focus on Subitizing K-5. Why is it such an important part of your routine? What are the critical levels? How do you mix speed work with discussions and questions? How does Subitizing connect to Content Standards? Can I really subitize to develop additive thinking and multiplicative thinking and fluency with math facts? (Yes you can!).
Join me for a fun and informative 75 minutes of subitizing. You do not need prior experience with subitizing to benefit from this session.
