PD 6617 – Study Abroad in Virtual Reality (VR)

October 24, 2019 | 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Virtual Reality, or VR, is a way to experience things that could be otherwise difficult or impossible to experience, such as going to Greece, touring the circulatory system, or walking in someone else’s shoes. This time, we’re going to explore the natural world. In conjunction with the study abroad programs going on this semester, we’re going to feature each of the highlighted countries – China, Mexico, and new this year, Kenya! – on each of the VR systems that we have. We’re going to just scratch the surface of what these countries have to offer in the couple hours we have, but hopefully, it’ll inspire you to go experience the real deal! Please drop by between 11 and 1 pm. Students must explore all 3 stations and spend 45 minutes at the event to get PGU Credit.
