PD 593 – How to Understand and Teach Your Muslim Students

This will be a professional development/workshop to provide preservice and in-service teachers with the knowledge, tools, and resources to help support their Muslim students in the classrooms. I am working with a team – Mr. Fiaz Fareed, Mrs. Tahseen Syeda, Dr. Tim Hall, and Dr. Gordon Maples to coordinate a virtual event/panel discussion and bring to light the challenges and opportunities to understand and teach Muslim students in our public schools.
