PD 588 – CCC #8 Engaging in Reflexive Praxis: Understanding Ourselves
October 25, 2022 | 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
One of the first steps to engaging in anti-racist work requires reflexive praxis. Reflexive praxis is a process of critical internal dialogue and reflection about one’s positionality or social location in relation to others. Drs. Zak Foste and Tenisha Tevis published a book entitled “Critical Whiteness Praxis in higher education: Considerations for the Pursuit of Racial Justice on Campus.” Through our conversation with Dr. Tevis will share best practices for engaging in reflexive praxis.
