PD 566 – Diversity Discussion

We will look at various articles and podcasts surrounding diversity, inclusion, and equity in education. We will utilize zoom and the breakout room feature to hold small group discussions before coming back together as an entire group. As a small and whole-group discussion, we will create innovative first steps for teachers to remember when they go into the classroom and are working with diverse students from various backgrounds. Through critical thinking and creating action steps, Teaching Fellows will begin their journey to be great teachers, but also teacher leaders in the field.
