October 16, 2018 | 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Segregation seems like a relic of the past but it remains a pervasive issue
in the American education system. What should future educators know about
resegregation in order to advocate for students of color affected by unfair
education policies? Dr. Christy Byrd will be giving a presentation on how
school districts in America are becoming increasingly racially segregated
and the implications for students and teachers.
