PD 376 – Educational Robot Meet & Greet

This PGU is open to all College of Education students. Robots have been widely used in teaching K-12 classes and align with state and national standards for technology integration. Research has demonstrated that new technology materials enhance student learning motivations. Future teachers should understand how to integrate new technology tools such as robots into their classrooms. This PGU will inspire prospective teachers to reflect on how to engage their students by implementing robots in their classrooms. In addition, examples of effective lesson plans with robot integration will be shared in the PGU session. This PGU is designed to develop college of education students’ computer science competence, and attendees will benefit from brainstorming robotics activities in their classroom teaching.
