8 NC State Education Doctoral Students Named 2019 DREAM Fellows

Eight doctoral students from the NC State College of Education’s Adult and Community College program attended Achieving the Dream’s annual conference as DREAM Fellows Feb. 19-21, 2019.

As DREAM Fellows, they observed the conference to take note of key concepts and trends relevant to advancing higher education presented at the three-day event.

The DREAM conference brings together policy-makers, investors, thought leaders and practitioners from colleges across the U.S. to discuss strategies for issues community college’s face like equity, increasing student success, increasing capacity for data analysis, program evaluation, and student-centered, data-informed decision-making.

DREAM Fellows provide Achieving the Dream with deeper feedback about the conference as well as detailed observations about emerging trends and issues that can enhance the organization’s work in student success.
