Our Mission

METRC provides resources and services to facilitate the preparation of professional educators, counselors, and administrators at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and to model an exemplary school library media center.

Affiliated with NC State University Libraries, the METRC collection can be searched through the Libraries online catalog.

Note: When the University is closed or classes are canceled due to inclement weather, METRC is also CLOSED

Current hours:

METRC Intersession and Summer hours:
Monday – Thursday: 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Friday: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Weekends: Closed

Please note: METRC is closed for university holidays and when classes are canceled.

Wednesday, November 27th: METRC Library will be closed, but full-time staff will be available via email from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Monday, December 23rd: METRC Library will be closed, but a staff member will be available via email (cedmediacenter@ncsu.edu) from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
