My Student Experience: Technology, Engineering, and Design Education Students Hone Teaching, Technical Skills at TEECA East

Whether they were constructing a cardboard pachinko machine to sort parts or teaching a history lesson about North Carolina lighthouses, the NC State students who attended this year's TEECA Eastern Regional Conference took advantage of the opportunities to showcase the creativity they will one day employ as technologists and educators.

Trevor Dill '22 has always enjoyed designing and building. The technology, engineering, and design education program at the NC State College of Education was the perfect environment for him to hone his skills, skills he hopes to eventually use to produce gym equipment.

Students in the NC State College of Education's Technology and Engineering Education Collegiate Association traveled up to Rehoboth Beach last month to attend the TEECA Eastern Regional Conference, where they took home awards in a number of education- and technology-related competitions.
