NC State College of Education faculty were awarded $7,749,144 to support five research projects in April and May. In FY 2018, faculty have received $13,276,765 in awards so far.

After feeling unrewarded by her brief stint in sales, Taylor Rothenburg ’18 realized she wanted to make a career out of helping change lives through Special Education. Her decision to change paths was solidified when she made a near perfect 73 of 75 on the edTPA before graduation.

Applications Open for N.C. Teaching Fellows Program

Students accepted into the program will receive up to $8,250 per year in forgivable loans if they commit to teach in the fields of science, technology, engineering, math or special education in the North Carolina public schools. Applications close Jan. 16, 2018.

NC State College of Education Selected to Host N.C. Teaching Fellows Program

The N.C. Teaching Fellows Program, which returns in 2018-19, will recruit, prepare and support students attending North Carolina's top education programs for preparation as highly effective STEM or special education teachers in the state's public schools.
