Friday Institute for Educational Innovation to Co-sponsor 2022 Pandemic Pedagogy Research Symposium May 11

Early data suggests that pandemic-born pedagogies and practices are resulting in positive outcomes. But how do we move from innovation to real, lasting transformation? The Symposium invites original submissions that address this critical question through empirical research and translational analyses. Proposals will be accepted through Jan. 18, 2022, and may represent completed research or works in progress with preliminary findings.

Endowed Scholarship Established to Honor Former Dean Mary Ann Danowitz

NC State’s College of Education has established the Mary Ann Danowitz Scholarship in honor of its former dean thanks to donations from two lead donors and other stakeholders throughout the College of Education community. When combined with matching funds from NC State’s Extraordinary Opportunity Scholarship Initiative (EOSI), this scholarship endowment has a projected value of over $200,000. It will provide need-based scholarships for undergraduate students in the college.
