NC State College of Education Passport to Success scholars must complete activities that fall into four separate categories — global knowledge, cross-cultural skills, community engagement and professional development. NC State College of Education Establishes Summer Internship Program in Memory of Chantal Warfield ’19
The Warfield Fellows program will provide financial support to two undergraduate students within the NC State College of Education who serve as interns at organizations in high needs communities that support education, such as schools, community centers or educational nonprofits. The College of Education Summer Internship Program is supported by gifts in memory of Chantal Warfield '19 to the College of Education Excellence Fund.
TRIO: Promoting Student Success through Strategic and Collaborative Partnerships
Through a new partnership with NC State's Division of Academic and Student Affairs, Alumni Distinguished Graduate Professor Audrey Jaeger and NC State College of Education graduate students work alongside TRIO Programs to develop activities and opportunities for undergraduate students to present original research on campus. The undergraduate students will present their work at the first TRIO Collegiate Fall Conference on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018.
