18 Doctoral Students Chosen to Represent Belk Center for Community College Leadership and Research at National Conferences as Belk Center Fellows

Eighteen doctoral students have been chosen to participate in the 2024 Belk Center Fellows program. Seven students will attend Achieving the Dream’s DREAM 2024 conference in Orlando, Florida, from Feb. 19-22 while the other 11 fellows will attend the League for Innovation in the Community College's Innovations Conference in Anaheim, California, from March 17-20.

NC State College of Education Ranked #27 in U.S. News’ Best Online Programs Rankings

NC State’s College of Education is ranked #27 in the nation in the 2024 U.S. News & World Report’s Best Online Master's in Education Programs, an improvement of three spots over last year. The college also ranked #1 in North Carolina and #11 in the nation for online education programs for veterans.

My Student Experience: Elementary Education Major Abby Rinehard ’24 Explores Social-emotional Learning Preparation Through Presented Research Study

When Abby Rinehard ’24 first came to the NC State College of Education as an elementary education major, the idea of conducting research never crossed her mind. However, a selected course and an opportunity presented by Associate Professor Jill Grifenhagen led her on a path that allowed her to not only conduct her own research project, but present her findings at a statewide conference this past fall.
