Callie Edwards, John Kelley Receive College of Education’s 2022 Staff Awards for Excellence

Callie Edwards, associate director of program evaluation and education research at the Friday Institute for Educational Innovation, and John Kelley, an executive assistant to the head of the Department of Educational Leadership, Policy, and Human Development, have been recognized for their contributions to the NC State College of Education with the 2022 Staff Awards for Excellence.

Faculty and researchers at the NC State College of Education, including the Belk Center for Community College Leadership and Research and the Friday Institute for Educational Innovation, were awarded $2,503,821 to support 10 projects from Oct. 1, 2021, through March 31 2022.

Arif Rachmatullah has always been passionate about understanding how people learn science in different environments. As he graduates from the NC State College of Education with a Ph.D. in the Learning and Teaching in STEM science education program area of study, he believes that his time working with faculty in the college has given him the tools he needs to achieve his dream of becoming a successful education researcher.
