News & Observer: US Department of Labor Awards $6 Million to NC State for Apprenticeship Program

The U.S. Department of Labor awarded $6 million to the NC State College of Education for the "Artificial Intelligence Academy (AIA): North Carolina Apprenticeships for Innovation" project, on which Professor Carla Johnson, Ph.D., will serve as principal investigator.

Friday Institute Senior Faculty Fellow Carla C. Johnson Expands Online Learning Opportunities for K-12 Educators with New Grant from Institute of Education Sciences

 Carla C. Johnson, Ph.D., a senior faculty fellow with the NC State College of Education’s Friday Institute for Educational Innovation and a professor of science education in the college, will develop and study two new Professional Learning Online Modules (PLOM) for educators through a recently funded, two-year grant.
