Leadership Institute for Future Teachers Gives High School Students Lift Up on Education Careers
Rising high school seniors from across North Carolina traveled to the NC State College of Education this summer to take part in the Leadership Institute for Future Teachers (LIFT), a six-day, invitational program for students who are interested in teaching.
Throughout the week, they grew their leadership and communication skills, interacted with statewide leaders in education and received mentorship from current NC State College of Education students.
