The NC State College of Education welcomed beginning teachers for its sixth Beginning Teacher Institute July 23-26. The free program provided organizing, planning, implementing and analyzing instruction for student achievement to elementary and secondary teachers in their first, second or third years as educators.

Teachers attending the Beginning Teacher Institute took to social media to share what they learned during the sessions and the reasons why they continue to choose education as a profession.
