From the moment Shaunacee Harris ’21MED arrived as an undergraduate at NC State, she wanted to become a criminal profiler, majoring in criminology with minors in forensic science and law and justice. But it was her experience while pursuing a Master of Arts in forensic psychology that shifted her mindset and changed her career path.

When Erin Meachum ‘23PHD started her undergraduate studies, she had no intention of becoming a teacher. After volunteering at local literacy centers, teaching English overseas, teaching ESL at local community colleges and joining the Ag Institute at NC State, Meachum realized her true passion for the field of education. Now, financial support has allowed her to pursue her career aspiration of becoming a higher education administrator.
