In high school, Sarah Brown ’21 spent most of her time working as a camp counselor and discovered how much she loved teaching and working with kids, but it wasn’t until the end of her first year of college when she realized she could make a career out of teaching. Sarah Schuetz ’21MED always enjoyed working with children and adolescents. But it was her experience as a member of Camp Kesem while an undergraduate that changed her life and her career journey. Wanting to incorporate psychology and counseling within a school setting, Schuetz enrolled in the school counseling program, where scholarship support helped her earn her master’s degree and prepared her to become a successful school counselor.
