With a passion for training teachers new to the United States, Jermaine Howell ’19MED plans to use his master’s degree to become an instructional coach, where he trains and develops educators to become effective classroom practitioners.

As a biology and physical science lateral entry teacher at Athens Drive High School, Alexandra van Dorsten ’19MAT chose NC State’s College of Education to earn her teaching license. At the end of May, she will move to Ghana to teach science as a Peace Corps volunteer.

Greg Cheney '19PHD will deliver the Charge to the Graduate Students during the NC State College of Education's December 2019 Graduation Ceremony. He has served as an Army Chaplain for the past 16 years and is a licensed marriage and family therapist.
