How to Help the Field of Education on NC State’s Day of Giving
NC State's first-ever Day of Giving is a 24-hour fundraising event and opportunity for the NC State community to come together, maximize our collective impact and show how we are #GivingPack. With your help, we can earn up to $57,000 in cash prizes that will directly benefit students within the college and enhance the field of education.
Empowering a Global Perspective
Mary Ann Danowitz, dean of NC State’s College of Education, has established a study abroad award fund to benefit future education professionals – and their students. The scholarship’s first awardee, Chantal Warfield, fulfilled her study abroad goals by traveling to the United Kingdom for a five-week STEM and liberal studies program.
An Extraordinary Year
The NC State College of Education's record year of giving -- which included gifts and pledges totaling $4,680,964 from 1,047 donors during fiscal year 2017-18 and a $10.86 million grant from the Belk Foundation to launch the Belk Center for Community College Leadership and Research -- helped the university experience another outstanding fundraising year, as its Think and Do the Extraordinary Campaign continues to transform all aspects of campus life and power the university’s strong momentum.
