Supporting Our Practicing Teachers in Partner Schools (12-1 p.m.)

This is a two-part service activity that will help teachers who are struggling. Part one is a planning meeting to discuss ways to support practicing teachers, particularly those at our partner schools. Part two will involve the group’s appreciations being delivered. Join via Zoom. 

College Advising Corps Educational Session (3-5 p.m.)

Come learn about how to join the College Advising Corps! The NC State College Advising Corps places recent college graduates as full-time college advisers in some of North Carolina’s rural, under-served high schools. Advisers provide the encouragement and advising needed to navigate the college admissions process. Join via Zoom.

NC State’s Inaugural Equity Research Symposium

Partners from across NC State are coming together in 2022 to share and catalyze new cutting-edge, equity-focused and equity-relevant research. The university’s first Equity Research Symposium will contemplate the question: “what does equity mean to me?” throughout the day. The event will feature panel presentations, lightning-rod presentations, poster presentations and round table discussions.
