PD 6719 – Ed Scholars Information Session

November 15, 2022 | 5:15 pm - 6:15 pm

Do you want to make a difference in the lives of K-12 students in rural NC? Do you want access to individualized professional development before and after graduation? How would an extra $10,000 help you to reach your goals during your first two years in the classroom?

The NC State Education Scholars program is recruiting future classroom leaders! Come join us for an information session with our Ed Scholar Districts: Onslow, Lenoir, and Cumberland County!

This NCSES program is open to juniors, seniors, and MAT students who will student teach during the 2023-2024 school year (fall or spring) and who seek to make a difference in the lives of children in communities of need. This year, the NC State Education Scholars program has partnered with Lenoir, Onslow, and Cumberland Counties. If selected for this competitive, unique opportunity, you would be guaranteed a job within one of the participating districts upon graduation. You will also receive a post-graduation award of $2,500 for each semester you work as a teacher in that district for two years. This equals a $10,000 bonus for making a huge difference in the lives of children in Eastern North Carolina.
