Excellence Fund Helps The Literacy Space Provide Reading Support Services for Elementary School Students, Creates Professional Development Opportunities

As a result of donations to the NC State College of Education Excellence Fund, the Wolfpack Readers Program was able to establish The Literacy Space, an off-campus location that provides direct services to elementary school children who need extra support in reading.

HuffPost: Students’ Positive Views Of Liberals Increased During College Years, Study Finds

A new study from the IDEALS Project suggested that students’ appreciation for both conservatives and liberals increased during freshman year. But by the time they graduated, positive attitudes toward conservatives dropped back to freshman-year levels, while opinions about liberals continued to improve.

Lisset Botello Martinez ‘24 moved to the United States at the age of 3 and, growing up, her mother instilled in her the importance of having access to education. The Bob Davis Scholarship has made it possible for Martinez to continue her education and pursue a degree in technology, engineering, and design education from the NC State College of Education.
