Casey Holmes ‘21PHD, a doctoral student in social studies education, was selected as one of 10 graduate student teachers to receive the NC State Graduate Student Association Award for Excellence in Classroom Teaching. 

Since the 2017 publication of the U.S. News' Best Graduate School Rankings, the NC State College of Education has improved 28 spots in the rankings.

U.S. News Ranks NC State College of Education #31 in Nation, 5 Programs in Specialty Categories

The NC State College of Education is tied at No. 31 in the U.S. News & World Report’s 2021 Best Graduate School Rankings among 393 graduate colleges of education in the nation. That is an improvement of 14 spots over last year. U.S. News also ranked programs within the college in five education specialty categories: Educational Administration and Supervision, Curriculum and Instruction, Elementary Teacher Education, Higher Education Administration and Secondary Teacher Education.
