Career Role & Responsibilities: I work at Wake Tech as the Director of Financial Aid Appeals. I also volunteer with the Junior Women’s Club of Raleigh and currently serve as treasurer.

Why did you enter the field of education?
I entered higher ed and financial aid, specifically, to assist students who might not otherwise be able to attend college.

Why did you choose to earn your degree from the NC State College of Education?
I graduated with my Master’s in 2014 and my degree from NC State propelled my career. I am now back working on my Ed.D. and love my time at NC State.
